Our Process

Each project is unique, presenting its own set of challenges and opportunities. We specialise in designing serene and contemporary landscapes that can be tailored to meet your requirements. The following information provides a brief insight into our garden design process.

Designing and transforming beautiful gardens and outdoor living spaces

1. The Brief

The first step will be to have a free consultation with you and taking a look at your outdoor space so we can establish what you want from your garden and how you would like it to be used by taking into consideration where your garden is situated as well as your budget, any specific details and features you would like to include as well as what kind of look and feel you want your garden to have.

We will then carry out a site analysis to take into account the interior and exterior of the house, the garden aspect, its soil conditions, and the surrounding landscape, as well as different points of view from multiple angles. Before the next stage is carried out, a topographical survey will be carried out by a surveyor which will show the different levels as well as surrounding structures and trees allowing us to work off of it and create the design layout.

A concept design in an aerial view will be created and this will be presented alongside mood boards and 3D CAD images to show you what the finished garden could look like. Once we have completed this, we will meet you again to discuss our proposed plans and when you are fully satisfied with them we will then work on the detailed and finalised design.

2. Concept Design

The detailed design will become the master plan for the garden and will be used to implement the build. This will include a detailed aerial plan along with necessary information on the layout of the garden as well as materials that will be used and key structural planting and features that will provide everything that contractors will need to build the garden according to the detailed design.

3. Detailed Design

The planting plan shows where the plants will be situated, their Latin names, and their sizes, which will serve as the template for the planting scheme. This will come alongside a mood board of all of the plants, so you can get an idea of how the planting will look. We will work closely with you, using our depth of horticultural knowledge and aesthetics, to develop a scheme that is both functional and beautiful.

4. Planting Plan

5. The Build

In addition to being present for the planting, site visits will be conducted throughout the construction to ensure the design is being properly implemented and to provide guidance if any issues arise.
